Queensland Symphony Orchestra Rebrand

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra required a new logo for their rebrand that would appeal to a younger target market whilst still retaining their current mature audience. I drew inspiration from both the seating arrangement and the warm colours of Queensland to create a dynamic shape. When combined with a traditional serif typeface, the final logo exceeded client expectations and was chosen ahead of 50 other peer concepts for commercial use.

Laura Fulcher is a makeup artist that required brand and communication material that was professional, contemporary and feminine. The logo was created to replicate a magazine style mast head to give a professional editorial feel, and crushed makeup was used as a recurring visual element to give a bold, colourful and desirable look.

TTNQ Event Branding & Recipe Book

Tourism Tropical North Queensland needed to create event branding and collateral for their regional showcase ‘A Recipe for Events Success’. Email marketing campaigns, advertisements, lanyards and a 28 page hard cover recipe book were created for the event. The concept revolved around the region’s local/tropical produce whilst adhering to strict brand guidelines. This project was completed whilst employed at Gateway Media Group.

They wanted the brand material to be professional and sophisticated, but still have a softness to reflect the environmental work that they do. The result was a dynamic new logo that was carried across stationary, website and signage design exceeding the client’s expectations.
